Bishopthorpe, 7 messuages and 7 1/2 bovates of land, of the king in socage by fealty and service of 2 marks yearly for all service, annual value 13s. 4d. above this service. ‘Bistardhall’, a tenement so called, of Robert Thornton , service unknown, annual value 20s. Middlethorpe, a tenement, of the abbot of Whitby by 10s. yearly for all service, annual value 6s. 8d. Bilton, the manor, of John, Lord Scrope , service unknown, annual value 10s. above all charges. Tockwith, a messuage and 2 virgates of land, of William Fayrefax , service unknown, annual value 13s. 4d. Sawley, 6 messuages, of the archbishop of York , service unknown, annual value of each 18d.
He died on 23 September last. Brian Davile his son is his next heir, aged 22 years and more.
