Walter died on 28 February last. Joan daughter of Thomas Romsey brother of Walter father of Walter is his kin and next heir, and aged 13 and more.

Orchardleigh, ½ manor with advowson of the church there, with right of presentation on every other occasion, held of the king in chief as ¼ knight’s fee. There is the manorial site, worth nothing yearly; and one carucate of arable, 12 a. meadow, 100 a. pasture, and 20 a. wood, demised to Thomas Ferrour for a term of years for £4 yearly, payable at Easter and Michaelmas by equal parts. Annual value of the advowson when it falls, 40s. Oakley, the manor, held of the earl of Salisbury , service unknown. There is the manorial site, worth nothing yearly; 200 a. arable, demised to various tenants for terms of years for 100s. yearly, payable at Easter and Michaelmas by equal parts; 20 a. meadow, demised to various tenants for terms of years for 40s. yearly, payable at the same terms; 102s. assize rent taken from free tenants and tenants-at-will at Easter and Michaelmas by equal parts; and perquisites of court, worth nothing yearly. Mudford-Torry, 1/3 manor, held of John Grey, knight , service unknown. There is the manorial site, worth nothing yearly; and 150 a. arable, 20 a. meadow, and 30 a. pasture, demised to John Chepman for a term of years for £4, payable at Easter and Michaelmas by equal parts. Adber, ½ knight’s fee pertaining to the manor of Rockbourne in Hampshire, which manor, with the ½ knight’s fee, is held of the king in chief by knight service. Annual value of the moiety when it falls, 50s.
He died on 25 January last. Joan wife of Thomas Payne is his kin and next heir as the daughter of Thomas Romsey, knight , brother of Walter Romsey father of Walter, and aged 12 and more.
