He held the following in demesne as of fee.
Runham, 2/3 manor called ‘Dandas’ and ‘Byllyngeys’. There is a messuage with buildings, worth nothing yearly; 120 a. land, each acre worth 8d. yearly; 20 a. marsh, each acre worth 3d. yearly; and 13s. 4d. assize rent, payable at St Andrew and Midsummer by equal parts. Pertaining to the two-thirds is a court and view of frankpledge at the vills of Runham and Rackheath, worth 10s. yearly. The manor is held as a whole of the king in chief in socage by fealty and rendering 2 measures of wine and 200 permain pears to the king at Norwich if he goes there.
Runham, a messuage in the vill, worth nothing yearly; 50 a. land, each acre worth 8d. yearly; and 12s. assize rent called ‘Merkessales’, payable at the said terms, held of Elizabeth wife of John Rothenhale, knight, as of her manor of Ormesby by fealty, 14d. rent, and suit at her court at the manor of Ormesby, held every three weeks;
a messuage, worth nothing yearly; and 17 a. land, each acre worth 8d. yearly, called ‘Tounesendes’, held of the same as of the same manor, service unknown.
He died on 2 April last.
