Jurors: William Salt of Rickerscote; John Perton; Robert Yous of Levedale; Hugh Wyldeblode; Thomas Molle; William Smyth of Penkridge; William Smyth and John Premyngham of Sandon; John Heth of Great or Little Wyrley (Wyrley); Henry Justise; John Sadeler of Lichfield; and David Robynson of Checkley.
By letters patent dated at the Tower of London 5 October 1274 [CChR 1257–1300, p. 187] that were exemplified under the seal of Henry VI [CPR 1422–1429, p. 474] and shown to the jurors, Edward I granted the following to his valet, Letard de Henyn, to hold to him and the heirs of his body in perpetuity, with reversion to the crown. Upper Arley, the manor, true annual value £12 15s. 10d., held of the king and his heirs as one knight’s fee.
He died without heir of his body. The manor should revert to the king.
