Gamelsby, 1/2 of the vill and of the mill, and
Wiggonby, a tenement, held of the king
in chief by service of paying 3s. cornage yearly, annual value 13s. 6d.
Carlisle, 30 a. land called ‘Pettrelholme’ in the suburbs, held of the king
by homage and fealty only, annual value 20s.; and 4 messuages in the city, held of the king
in free burgage and paying 4d. house-gavel (hasgabulum) yearly, annual value 13s. 4d.
Skelton, a messuage and 4 a. land, held of
Lord de Clyfford
by fealty and suit to his court of Skelton, annual value 16d.
Bochardby, a cottage [also given as a messuage] in the hamlet, held of the king
by fealty and paying 12d. yearly at the exchequer of Carlisle castle, annual value nil because wasted.
Upperby, a messuage and 6 a. land in the vill, held of the king
by fealty and paying 12d. yearly at the Carlisle exchequer, annual value 2s.
He died on 12 June 1419. Elizabeth wife of

is his sister and next heir, aged 9 years and more on the day of his death.
