Margery held his lands in dower or otherwise for life of the inheritance of Margaret wife of John Tirwhit and Ellen wife of Christopher Conyers , daughters and heirs of Thomas Rolleston and Beatrice his wife, sister and heir of Robert son of John.

She held 1/3 manor of Ingleton and 1/3 advowson of Bentham church, namely presentation every third time of vacancy, in dower by endowment of Robert son of John, her former husband, of the inheritance of Margaret wife of John Tirwhit and Ellen wife of Christopher Conyers , reversion to Margaret and Ellen as Robert’s kinswomen and heirs as in the writ, because he died without heir of his body. The 1/3 manor and advowson together with the other 2/3 are held of William Lord Fitzhugh , service presently unknown. In the 1/3 manor there are 1/3 site with building, 1/3 garden and 40 a. demesne arable, demised together for 16s. 8d. yearly at Pentecost and Martinmas; 15 a. meadow, each acre worth 20d. yearly, sum 25s. and demised to tenants for this sum at the same terms; 6 messuages and 6 adjacent bovates, each messuage with adjacent bovate demised for 6s. 8d. yearly at the same terms, sum 40s.; 6 cottages with 6 a. land in adjacent crofts, each cottage with adjacent acre demised for 2s. yearly at the same terms, sum 12s.; 10 a. land in a riding (Riddyng) in Bentham, each acre demised to tenants for 6d. yearly at the same terms, sum 5s.; 1/3 water-mill in Ingleton demised for 3s. 4d. yearly at the same terms; 1/3 fulling-mill there demised for 3s. 4d. yearly at the same terms; 1/3 wood containing 60 a., worth nothing after the forester’s fee and other charges; and 1/3 perquisites of the court, worth nothing yearly after the fee of the manor’s steward. The 1/3 advowson when vacant is worth 40s. yearly. She held 2 parts of the manor of Patrick Brompton for life of the inheritance of the same Margaret and Ellen, by enfeoffment of Frederick Tilney, knight , and John de Skipworth to Robert son of John and herself and his heirs, reversion to Margaret and Ellen as his kinswomen and heirs as before. The 2 parts are held of the same William Lord Fitzhugh, service unknown. In the 2 parts of the manor there are a garden in which the capital messuage was formerly situated, demised for 18d. yearly at Pentecost and Martinmas; 4 messuages and 5 bovates 1/2 rood of land, each messuage with a bovate demised for 6s. 8d. yearly, 5th bovate demised for 5s. yearly and 1/2 rood demised for 2d. yearly, to tenants at will at the same terms, sum 31s. 10d.; and 2 parts of a water-mill demised for 6s. 8d. yearly at the same terms.
She died on 4 March last. Margaret is aged 27 years and more and Ellen 26 years and more.
