He held the following in Tottenham in his demesne as of fee as part of the manor called Bruces (Brwys), formerly King Edward’s, ancestor of the present king, of
Henry IV in chief by knight service: 36 a. arable, each acre worth 3d. yearly; 8 a. meadow, each acre worth 28d. yearly; 33 a. wood, each acre worth 4d. yearly after the lord’s services; the customary services and mowing of the 8 a. meadow by the tenants, each work worth 5s. 4d. yearly; and view of frankpledge of these tenants, worth 9d. yearly.
He similarly held the manor called Mockings in Tottenham jointly with Alice his wife, in chief of

of his manor of Tottenham by service of rendering 23s. 6d. yearly and suit to his court every three weeks. In the manor of Mockings there are the site together with the garden, worth nothing yearly; 100 a. arable, each acre worth 3d. yearly; 30 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. yearly; the wood, worth nothing yearly except for the enclosure of the land; 40s. assize rents at Easter,
Midsummer,
Michaelmas and Christmas in equal portions; and perquisites of the court, worth nothing yearly after the steward’s costs and expenses.
He died on 1 August 1412.

is his son and next heir, aged 23 years and more last St Martin’s day.
Alice wife of Elming took the issues of these lands and tenements until her death on 1 November 1419, by virtue of the enfeoffment to Elming and herself. Henry V and Henry VI took the issues from her death until the day of this inquisition.
