Swaffham Bulbeck, 1/3 manor, held with the whole of the manor of John duke of Bedford of his honour of Richmond and of the earl of Oxford , services unknown. In 1/3 manor there are a grange, a dovecot, a stank, an enclosed garden on the south of the manor, a long chamber, a tiled chamber (una camera tegulata), an outhouse called ‘le Larderhous’ and 1/3 bakehouse, worth nothing yearly; 23s. 8d. assize rents at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions; 23s. 8d. rent of tenants at will at the same feasts in equal portions; 26 harvest-works performed by tenants at will, each work worth 1/2d. yearly; 1/3 court baron held every three weeks, worth nothing yearly; 1/3 fishery, worth 4d. yearly; 66 a. 3 roods of arable, each acre worth 4d. yearly; and 8 a. meadow, each acre worth 20d. yearly. Burrough Green, 1/3 manor, held with the whole of the manor of the same duke of the same honour, services unknown. In the manor there are a new chamber with a buttery and pantry, a kitchen, a bakehouse and 1/2 garret, worth nothing yearly; 26 a. 3 roods of wood, worth nothing yearly; 10 a. wood lying in ‘le Outwode’, each acre worth 2s. yearly; 24s. 4d. assize rents at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions; rents of 2 1/3 capons at the same feasts, each capon worth 3d. yearly; 66 a. 3 roods of arable, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 2 1/2 a. 1/2 rood of arable, each acre worth 8d. yearly; 34 1/2 a. pasture, each acre worth 4d. yearly; 1/3 windmill, worth nothing yearly; 1/3 court baron, worth nothing yearly; and 1/3 advowson of Burrough Green church, the third time of presentation when it falls, worth nothing yearly.
She died on 6 June last. Edmund Ingaldesthorp is her son and heir, aged 5 years and more.

She held 1/3 manor of East Raynham (Reynham) in dower of the inheritance of Edmund son and heir of Thomas Ingaldesthorp her late husband, of the king in chief by service of 1/20 knight’s fee, annual value 5 marks. She held 1/3 manor of Ingoldisthorpe in Snettisham, in dower of the endowment of the said Thomas, who predeceased her, of whom unknown, annual value 5 marks. Long before this inquisition John Colvyle, knight , Henry Wellys, clerk , Henry Notyngham, esquire , John Bateman, clerk , and Thomas Jackesson, chaplain , were seised in their demesne as of fee of the manor of Emneth called ‘Belefiez’ which they granted to Thomas Ingaldesthorp and Margaret and their heirs and assigns. Thomas died and Margaret, in widow-right and by her deed dated 10 April 1423, shown to the jurors, granted to Gilbert Pulham then her servant, an annual rent of 4 marks for life from the manor at Michaelmas and Easter in equal portions for his good service in the past, as is contained more fully in the deed. Gilbert was seised of the rent from the day of the grant by the hands of Margaret and Margaret afterwards died seised of the manor. The manor is held of the bishop of Ely and the prior of Lewes by service of a knight’s fee. The site with buildings, containing 3 a. land, is worth nothing yearly. Belonging to the manor are 200 a. arable, each acre worth 8d. yearly; 3 a. 3 roods of land called escheated land, each acre worth 6d. yearly; 2s. 6 1/2d. assize rents at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions from tenements held of the manor; and perquisites of the courts, valued at 12d. yearly.
