She held the following lands and tenements in Redbourne in dower of the inheritance of Gerard Sothill, esquire , son and heir of Gerard Sothill, chevalier , by assignment of John de Bekyngham of Beckingham and Beatrice his wife, of the king in chief, amount of service unknown: 1/3 grange, worth 16d. yearly; a toft called ‘Castilgarth’, worth 4d. yearly; a toft called ‘Appulgarth’, worth 4d. yearly; 1/3 toft lately in William Fissher ’s tenure, worth 16d. yearly; 1/3 toft lately in John Payntour ’s tenure, worth 14d. yearly; 24 a. arable, each acre worth 3d. yearly; moiety of 1 a. land, worth 1 1/2d. yearly; and 6 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly. The reversion belonged to John de Bekyngham and Beatrice his wife in right of Beatrice. By their deed dated at Redbourne, 1 July 1371, John and Beatrice granted the reversion, described as the reversion of the 1/3 manor of Redbourne, together with the 2/3 manor, to Gerard Sothill, chevalier , and Robert his brother and Gerard’s heirs, as is clear more fully in the charter shown to the jurors. Constance attorned [to Gerard and Robert]. Robert died and Gerard Sothill, chevalier , subsequently died on 1 August 1410.
She died on 26 July 1423.

Peter Nevylle former husband of Constance Neuylle , both mentioned in the writ, was seised in his demesne as of fee of the 1/3 grange, the tofts, land and meadow as part of the manor of Redbourne together with the reversion of the manor. He died, and the right and fee of the manor then descended to Beatrice wife of John de Bekyngham of Beckingham , as Peter’s daughter and heir. John and Beatrice assigned the 1/3 grange together with the tofts, land and meadow to Constance for life as her dower appertaining from the manor. Thus the reversion of the 1/3 grange, the tofts, land and meadow belongs to John and Beatrice in her right.
