He held the following lands and tenements in Tealby in his demesne as of fee of the king in chief, by service of paying 22d. sterling to the king by the hands of the sheriff at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions: a messuage called ‘Bayonshalle’ with an adjacent croft, worth 6s. 8d. yearly; a carucate, worth 13s. 4d. yearly; a bovate called ‘Doboxgang’, worth 6s. 8d. yearly; 8 a. meadow, each acre worth 8d. yearly; and 12s. assize rents from tenements at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions.
He died on 20 October 1382. William Bayons is his son and next heir, aged 40 years and more.
William Manfeld , son and heir of Adam Manfeld , hitherto occupied the messuage, croft, land, meadow and rent from the time of William Bayons ’ death and took the issues, right, title and manner unknown.
