In the messuage there are a house called ‘le Ferehous’ worth nothing yearly; a grange, worth nothing yearly; 100 a. land, each acre worth 4d. yearly; 4 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 4 a. outlying marsh, each acre worth 2d. yearly; a weir, worth 6d. yearly; 10s. 4d. assize rents at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions; a vacant place where a windmill was sited, worth 1d. yearly; and a view of frankpledge always held on the feast of St Thomas the apostle, worth 12d. yearly. He held 30 a. land in the same vill of Bradwell on Sea, formerly Baldwin Tany’s, each acre worth 4d. yearly. They are held of the king in chief by service of 1/8 knight’s fee.
He died on 30 September last. Robert de la Doune is his son and next heir, aged 4 years on 1 September last.
