She held no lands or tenements in her demesne as of fee or in service of the king in chief of the crown or of others. She held the following for life by demise and grant of William Carmynowe, esquire , deceased, reversion to himself and his heirs, to hold of himself and his heirs without rendering or reserving anything except the reversion. After William’s death the reversion descended successively to the following: John Carmynowe, esquire , as his son and heir, who died during Alice’s lifetime; John Carmynowe as son and heir of John, who died without heir of his body during Alice’s lifetime; Thomas Carmynowe, esquire , who survives, son and heir of this William, as uncle and heir of John son of John, namely brother of John Carmynowe, esquire . Alice died seised of this estate in this form, of Thomas who held in reversion. Tinten, the manor, held of Edmund, now bishop of Exeter , by knight service. In the manor there are 10 messuages, 60 a. land, 4 a. meadow, 100 a. pasture and 66 a. gorse and heath; annual value of the manor 20 marks. Polrode, the manor, and 2/3 manor of North Tamerton, held of the king of his castle of Launceston of his duchy of Cornwall, by knight service. In the manor of Polrode there are 9 messuages, worth nothing yearly; 30 a. land, worth 15s. yearly; 3 a. meadow, worth 3s. yearly; 60 a. pasture, worth 10s. yearly; 3 a. wood, its pasture worth 4d. yearly and the residue nothing unless the wood is felled; 53 a. gorse and heath, worth 3s. yearly; and 33s. assize rents from free tenants of the manor at Michaelmas. In 2/3 manor of Tamerton there are 6 messuages, worth nothing yearly; 27 a. land, worth 13s. 4d. yearly; 7 a. meadow, worth 7s. yearly; 21 a. pasture, worth 3s. 6d. yearly; 10 a. gorse, worth 10d. yearly; and 37s. 8d. assize rents from free tenants of the 2 parts at Michaelmas. Rosecare, Dizzard and Trefreock, the manors, held of John Cornewaill, knight , in socage. In the manors there are 6 messuages, 29 a. land, 7 a. meadow, 72 a. pasture and 200 a. gorse and heath, worth 100s. 6d. yearly. Treveniel, the manor, held severally, namely half of Hugh Lutterell, chevalier , and John Fortescu , and half of John Yerd and Anne his wife in her right, by knight service. In the manor there are 8 messuages, 45 a. land, 3 a. meadow, 100 a. pasture and 400 a. moor, worth £6 8d. yearly. Trelill, a messuage and 2 ferlings, held of John Braye of Tremure in socage, worth 10s. yearly.
She died on 27 March last. William Bonevyle, knight , is her kinsman and next heir as son of Elizabeth her daughter, and is aged 30 years and more. Thomas Carmynowe is aged 30 years and more.
