He held no lands or tenements in demesne or in service of the king or another. He was formerly seised of the following in his demesne as of fee. Sodington and Mamble, the manor, annual value £10, held of Richard earl of Warwick , service unknown. Timberlake, the manor, annual value 60s., held of the same earl in socage by service of a sparrowhawk. Worsley in Rock parish, a messuage and a virgate called ‘Orchard’, worth 13s. 4d. yearly, held of William Tyso in socage by service of 1/2d. yearly. Shrawley, a messuage and 1/2 virgate, worth 6s. 8d. yearly, held of the earl of Warwick in socage by service of 1d. yearly. Lindon in Rock parish, a water-mill called ‘Housemaynesmulle’, worth 10s. yearly, held of the earl of Warwick in socage by service of 12d. yearly. Stockton on Teme, Eastham, Falewe and Worcester, 30s. rent, and Doverdale, a knight’s fee, worth 100s. yearly, and Droitwich, 6 salt-vats of salt-water, worth 20s. yearly, the rent, knight’s fee and salt-vats held of the earl of Warwick , service unknown. Thus seised and by his charter, shown to the jurors and dated at Sodington, 24 January 1417, he granted the above, amongst other things, to William Blount his son, Thomas Lygon , Robert Harpere, clerk , and William Walkesbache, clerk , and their heirs and assigns. They were seised during his lifetime and are still seised, and took and still take the issues.
He died on 4 April last. John Blount is his next heir as son of John his son, and is aged 14 years and more.

Thomas Farnecote, late parson of Neuton church , and William Dilwyn, clerk , were formerly seised in their demesne as of fee of a messuage, 2 bovates, 80 a. land, 20 a. meadow, 10 a. pasture, 80 a. moor and £9 13s. 4d. rent in Balterley, Fenton, Ramshorn and Biddulph paid by the hands of tenants at Michaelmas and Lady Day equally. They held these of ‪ Richard II in chief by service of 1/10 knight’s fee. By ‪ Richard II ’s licence, they granted these to John Blount , named in the writ, and Isabel his wife and the heirs of their bodies, remainder to John’s right heirs, holding of the king and his heirs. John and Isabel were seised in their demesne as of fee tail in this form. At his death John held in his demesne as of fee tail according to this form of the king by the same service. The messuage is worth 4s. yearly; the 2 bovates 6s. yearly; each acre of land is worth 2d. yearly; each acre of meadow is worth 12d. yearly; each acre of pasture is worth 1d. yearly; and each acre of moor is worth 1/2d. yearly. Thomas Farnecote and William Dylwyn were formerly seised in their demesne as of fee of the following, which they granted to John Blount and Isabel his wife and the heirs of their bodies. John and Isabel were seised in their demesne as of fee tail. At his death John held in his demesne as of fee tail in this form of the abbot of Rocester , service unknown. Denstone, 9 messuages, worth 18s. yearly, 120 a. land, each acre worth 2d. yearly, 10 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly, and 80 a. pasture, each acre worth 1d. yearly. Waterfall, 8 messuages, worth 16s. yearly, 80 a. land, each acre worth 2d. yearly, and 300 a. heath, each acre worth 1/2d. yearly. Ellastone, 6 messuages, worth 12s. yearly, 100 a. land, each acre worth 2d. yearly, 6 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly, and 60 a. heath, each acre worth 1/2d. yearly.
John and Isabel had issue John, a son, who survives, aged 30 years and more. Isabel and then John the father died. After his death all the above descended to John as son and heir of John and Isabel according to the form of these grants. John is also the next heir of John Blount by virtue of the entail. Date of death as in 397.
