Long before her death and by her charter shown to the jurors and dated at London, 11 November 1422, she granted to her beloved servant John Kirkelond , for his good and praiseworthy service, the office of bailiff of her manor of Tolworth for life, with £4 fee yearly and all other profits and commodities pertaining to that office, at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions. John Kirkelond is still seised of this office with the fee.
