John and Margaret were seised, John in his demesne as of fee tail and Margaret as of free tenement, and Eleanor attorned to John and Margaret at Aldwark, by payment of a gold noble. Eleanor died and John and Margaret entered the 1/3 manor and advowson of 1/3 church in reversion. John died holding the manor and advowson jointly with Margaret his wife, who survives. Sprotbrough.
