He held the manor of Aston Clinton for life, in demesne as of his free tenement, of ‪Henry IV in chief by service of 1/2 knight’s fee, by grant of Philip Seyntclere, chevalier , remainder to Philip and his heirs. He died seised of the manor in demesne as of free tenement and Philip was seised of the reversion to himself and his heirs as of fee. The site of the manor now called ‘Chevereysfold’, with ‘le Rudyng’ lately Richard Murwyn’s, is worth 20s. yearly. In the manor there are a meadow called ‘Mundesmed’ containing 20 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. 4d. yearly; a court baron every three weeks, worth nothing yearly above the steward’s fee; 16 a. underwood, worth nothing yearly because they are in common; 27 virgates, each containing 20 a. arable and worth 16s. yearly; and £3 16d. assize rents of free tenants at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions.
He died on 23 September 1410. William Roos is his son and next heir, aged 30 years and more.
John Pelham, chevalier , occupied the manor, taking all issues from John’s death until the death on 2 November 1418 of John son and heir of Philip Seyntclere and brother of Thomas Seyntclere son of Philip, title and manner unknown.
