into the king's hand. When Joan came of age the same year she and her husband

entered the manor but before they were put into possession the younger

died and the lands descended to the younger William's daughter
and heir Mary.
On Mary's death they passed to her son and heir

Wyncelawe
,
and then to William's daughter Joan
, who survives and was aged 8 years on 11 June
1421.
