In right of his wife Margaret he held the following by the law of England: 2 a. arable in a furlong called `le Benham' in Willingdon of the king in chief by knight service, annual value 12d.; 1 a. arable in a furlong called `le Undirvynche', of whom held and by what service unknown, annual value 12d.; 28 a. arable in Eastbourne and Willingdon formerly of Thomas Batte , of whom held and by what service unknown, annual value 7s. 8d.; 9 a. meadow in Willingdon held of the honor of the Eagle, service unknown, annual value 6s. 8d.; and 1 1/2 a. in Eastbourne in the tithing of Lamport, of whom held and by what service unknown, annual value 6d.
He died on 20 June last. William Pocok is his son and next heir, aged 16 years and more.
