Because of the death of Brian Wyndsore and the minority of his son and heir Miles the following came into the hand of ‪ Richard II : the manor of Stanwell and the advowson of the church of Stanwell, held of the king in chief of his castle of Windsor for 1 knight's fee and a yearly render of £7 11s. 8d. for castle-guard. Annual values: the manor and advowson £20 10s.: i.e. the site of the manor nil; a garden 3s. 4d.; a dovecot 20d.; 230 a. arable worth yearly 2d. an acre; 50 a. meadow worth yearly 12d. an acre; 100 a. pasture worth yearly 2d. an acre; 20 a. wood, nil; and £15 assize rents. All remain in the king's hand except the advowson and 1 a. arable which Miles's brother and heir Richard gave in an exchange for the manor of West Bedfont to Thomas, abbot , and the convent of Chertsey, the king's licence having been obtained by letters patent of 23 May 1415 [22 May 1415: CPR 1413-16, pp. 322-3]. Brian was also seised in demesne as of fee of the following knight's fees as part of the manor of Stanwell: in Middlesex: the manor of West Bedfont held by the prior of Newark for 1 knight's fee and render to Brian of 6s. 8d. every 24 weeks; the manor of Sheepcote held by John Tytcheburn for 1/2 knight's fee and render to Brian of 3s. 4d. every 24 weeks; in Surrey: the manor of West Horsley formerly held by James Berners, knight , for 1 knight's fee and render of 6s. 8d. to Brian every 24 weeks; the manor of Peper Harow held by Bernard Brokas, knight , for 1 knight's fee and render of 6s. 8d. to Brian every 24 weeks; the manor of Hurtmore held by the prior of Newark for 1 knight's fee and render of 6s. 8d. to Brian every 24 weeks; a manor in Bagshot held by the duke of Surrey for 1/2 knight's fee and render of 3s. 4d. to Brian every 24 weeks; the manor of Eastbury held by John Gunnes for 1 knight's fee and render of 3s. 4d. to Brian every 24 weeks; the manor of Down held by Robert Hulle for 1/2 knight's fee and render of 3s. 4d. to Brian every 24 weeks; the manor of Berrylands held by John Branefeld for 1/4 knight's fee and render of 20d. to Brian every 24 weeks; in Hampshire: the manor of Winnall held by Thomas Broun ¯et for 1 knight's fee and render of 6s. 8d. to Brian every 24 weeks; the manor of Malshanger held by William Horneby for 1 knight's fee and render of 6s. 8d. to Brian every 24 weeks; in Berkshire: the manor of Chilton for 1 knight's fee and render of 6s. 8d. to Brian every 24 weeks; the manor of Wokefield for 1 knight's fee and render of 3s. 4d. to Brian every 24 weeks; the manor of Coldridge for 1/2 knight's fee and render of 3s. 4d. to Brian every 24 weeks; in Buckinghamshire: the manor of Burnham held by Richard de Melton for 1/2 knight's fee and render of 3s. 4d. to Brian every 24 weeks; the manor of Hardmead held for 1 knight's fee and render of 6s. 8d. to Brian every 24 weeks. The manor of Stanwell, except the advowson and 1 a. arable, came into the hand of ‪ Richard II by reason of the minority of Miles and remain in the king's hand because of the minority of Miles's brother and heir Richard Wyndesore .
Miles died on 3 Oct. 1401. Richard Wyndesore is his brother and heir, aged 22 years and more.

For the reasons mentioned in 790 the following came into the hand of ‪ Richard II : 12 messuages, 2 carucates and 20 a. meadow in West Hagbourne, part of the manor of West Hagbourne, from which various tenants at will owed Brian 67s. 4d. yearly; 60s. assize rents from various free tenants of the same manor; the reversion of a messuage, 2 carucates and 20 a. meadow which Clarice York , widow of Richard Wyndesore , holds in dower of Brian's inheritance by assignment of Miles father of Brian son and heir of James son and heir of Richard Wyndesore , who survived his son James; 40s. reserved rent of Miles father of Brian for life of Clarice from the messuages, carucates and 20 a. meadow assigned to her in dower because the lands assigned to Clarice exceeded in value by that amount what she was entitled to in dower. The lands remain in the king's hand because of the minority of Richard brother and heir of Miles son and heir of Brian except the 40s. worth assigned to Clarice, who died on 22 April 1404. There also came into the hand of Richard II 5s. assize rents from the manor of Chilton, 6s. 8d. assize rents from the manor of Wokefield and 20d. assize rents in Coldridge. They remain in the king's hand with the manor of West Hagbourne and are held of the king in chief for 1/2 knight's fee, annual value £7. The messuage, carucates and 20 a. meadow which Clarice held in dower came into the king's hand and remain there because of the minority of Miles son and heir of Brian, annual value 5 marks: i.e. the site of the manor nil because ruinous; a garden 6s. 8d.; a dovecot 6s. 8d.; 2 carucates containing 100 a., annual value 34s. 4d. at 4d. an acre; and 20 a. meadow, annual value 20s. at 12d. an acre.

The rents are part of the manor of Stanwell in Middlesex and with the remainder of that manor are held of the king in chief for 1 knight's fee rendering 16s. 8d. every 40 days for ward of Windsor castle as part of the service of the manor of Stanwell. They remain in the king's hand because of the minority of Miles's brother and heir Richard.
