He died on 18 Oct. 1404. Joan wife of Gerard Braybroke, esquire , is Thomas's daughter and next heir, aged 19 years and more.
The following were assigned from those manors by Edward Lodelowe , ‪ Henry IV 's escheator, to Joan widow of Thomas Ralegh , who survives: a messuage and 2 carucates in Turkdean; 2/3 manor of Lassington; 4 messuages and 4 cottages in Edgeworth; 200 a. arable, 100 a. pasture and 10 a. meadow in Edgeworth which John Tankart and Walter Palmer held; and 20 a. wood belonging to the manor of Edgeworth. Joan is now the wife of Reynold, Lord Grey of Ruthin , and still receives the profits. By the letters patent mentioned in 596 ‪ Henry IV committed the keeping of the lands to William, Lord Willoughby . Thomas held in chief and after his death his lands came into the hand of ‪ Henry IV because of the minority of his son William, who died a minor without issue on 28 Dec. last.

The 1/2 knight's fee in Clannaborough, the 1/2 knight's fee in Whitsley and the 1/4 knight's fee in Thorne came into the hand of ‪ Henry IV on the death of Thomas Ralegh , who held in chief, because of the minority of his son and heir William. They remained with the king because William died a minor and came into the hand of the present king, where they remain. They were not mentioned in the inquisition taken and returned to Chancery after William's death. Annual value of the 1/2s and 1/4 nil except on the deaths of the free tenants who hold them. They are held by knight service of the heir of John Cobhill [sic] of the manor of Cobham Week.
Joan wife of Gerard Braybrok, esquire , daughter of Thomas Ralegh , is the sister and next heir of William, who died without issue, and is aged 19 years and more.
