John Basset was seised in his demesne as of fee of the manor of Nailsworth, held of the abbess of Caen of the manor of Avening, service unknown, annual value £10, and granted it to John Bromwych, knight , in fee. John Bromwych devised it to Katharine, then his wife, for life and afterwards died without issue. The manor descended to John's brother Walter, who entered and took the profits. When John's will was declared,Walter allowed Katharine to occupy the manor at will during his lifetime. Walter had issue Thomas, to whom the manor descended after his death. Thomas entered after Walter's death and took the profits and demised the manor to Katharine to hold at will. By a fine levied East. three weeks and afterwards oct. Trin. 1367 [CP 25/1/78/74, no. 462] between John Bromwych, knight , quer., and Thomas Pichard, parson of Sollershope , def., concerning the manor of Bromsberrow and the advowson of the church of the manor which Stephen de Cusyngton, knight , and his wife Constance held for life of Constance, Thomas acknowledged the manor and advowson to be the right of John with reversion after Constance's death to John and his heirs. John Bromwych was seised in his demesne as of fee of the manor and advowson after Constance's death by virtue of the fine and received the profits. By his will he devised the manor and advowson to Katharine for life. The reversion descended like the manor of Nailsworth to Thomas. The manor of Bromsberrow and the advowson are held of Richard, earl of Worcester [recte Warwick] , of the manor of Hanley, service unknown, annual value £10.
She died on 4 May last, heir unknown, but Thomas, son and heir of Walter brother of John Bromwych , is aged 50 years and more.

She held no land in the county or adjacent march of the king or another in her demesne as of fee or by service. ‪ Henry IV was seised in his demesne as of fee of 1/2 manor of Eaton Tregoz with a mediety of the chapel of Eaton belonging to it and by letters patent of 25 March 1411 [not found] and shown to the jurors in evidence granted them to Katharine, widow of Hugh de Waterton, knight , for life, remainder to Thomas Langeley, bishop of Durham , John de Leventhorp , Robert Basset and William Bretteby . The moiety and mediety are held of the king in chief by knight service, annual value of the manor £10, of the advowson nil. The moiety extends on either side of the river Wye. Details of the moiety of the manor as in 578.

She held more land in the county than is mentioned in 581, i.e. the manor of Credenhill and the advowson of Credenhill for life by grant and feoffment by their charter shown to the jurors of Richard Nassch and Philip Holget to John Bromwych, knight , deceased, and his wife Katharine for life, reversion to John's kinsman and heir Thomas, the son of his brother Walter. John died without issue during Katharine's life, so on her death the manor and advowson descended to Thomas, who entered and was in possession when this inquisition was taken. Credenhill. The manor is held of John Chaundos, knight , of his barony of Snodhill by knight service, annual value £10.
William de Clynton, knight , aged 30 years and more, is Katharine's next heir but not in the manor and advowson, which revert to Thomas Bromwych , aged 50 years, as kinsman and heir of John Bromwych .
