He held in his demesne as of fee tail of the king in chief by service of keeping the door of the queen's chamber the manor of Froyle in which there are 62s. assize rents paid at Christmas, Easter, the Nativity of St. John the Baptist and Michaelmas in equal portions and a customary payment called `chirshet' from bond tenants of 7 capons and 24 cocks and hens worth 5s. 9d. at Christmas. Annual value of the site of the manor nil. There are in the manor 120 a. arable worth 40s., 50 a. pasture worth 12s. 6d. and 20 a. meadow worth 26s. 8d. Annual value of the pleas and perquisites of court nil. In the time of ‪ Henry III Philippa de Nevyll gave the manor to William de Wyntereshull , his wife Beatrice and the heirs of Beatrice by virtue of which William and Beatrice were seised in their demesne as of fee according to the form of the gift. After their deaths it descended successively to their son and heir Walter, to Walter's son Thomas, to Thomas's son William, to William's brother Thomas, to Thomas's son Thomas, and to Thomas's son Thomas named in the writ.
He died on 23 Oct. last. Joan widow of William Weston of Sussex and Agnes wife of William Basset of Surrey are his sisters and next heirs by virtue of the entail. Joan is aged 28 years and more, Agnes 23 years and more.

Philippa de Nevill gave them to William de Wyntereshull , his wife Beatrice and the heirs of their bodies and they descended successively to Edmund, son and heir of William and Beatrice [sic: cf. 562], to Edmund's son Walter, to Walter's son Thomas, to Thomas's son William, to William's brother Thomas, to Thomas's son Thomas, and to that Thomas's son Thomas named in the writ; the manor of Burpham which Beatrice de Wyntereshull gave to her son Walter de Wyntereshull and the heirs of his body and which descended to his son and heir Thomas, to Thomas's son William, to William's brother Thomas, to Thomas's son Thomas, and to Thomas's son Thomas named in the writ. Burpham. The manor is held of the earl of Stafford , service unknown. Annual value of the site of the manor nil. 563A Writ de partitione facienda . 26 February 1421. [Wymbyssh]. To the escheator of Surrey. The homage of Joan, widow of William Weston of Sussex , for her own purparty, and the fealty of William Basset , who married Alice, the other sister and heir of Thomas de Wyntereshull , for William’s purparty, [sic] have been taken. Order to take Joan’s fealty and take security from Joan, William and Alice for payment of a relief, and to make a partition of Thomas’ lands between them in their presence, and to deliver seisin to them.
