He died on 6 Dec. 1418 [sic - 'in the feast of St Leonard']. Thomas Seintclere is his brother and next heir, aged 18 years and more.

By letters patent of ‪ Henry IV [27 June 1408: CFR 1405-13, pp. 111-12] the custody of all Philip Seyntcler's manors was committed to John Pelham, knight , by reason of the minority of his son and heir John. By virtue of that grant Pelham had custody of the manors of Hedgecourt, annual value 4 marks, Lagham, held of the king in chief, Marden, and Burstow, annual value £8 and held of the archbishop of Canterbury in right of his church by knight service. Of whom Hedgecourt and Marden are held is unknown. Pelham had custody of John until he came of age on 8 Sept. last.
He died on 2 Nov. last. Thomas, also in Pelham's wardship, is his brother and next heir, aged 17 years and more.
