Philip Seintcler, knight , was seised in demesne as of fee in the castle and manor of Lullingstone, held of Henry, archbishop of Canterbury , of his manor of Otford for 1 knight's fee, annual value £8, and granted them to Alan for life for 5 marks yearly. On Alan's death the castle and manor descended to Thomas Seintcler , Philip's son and heir, a minor in the king's wardship, by right of inheritance.
He died on 20 Feb. last. Alan Seintjoust is his son and next heir, aged 24 years and more.
