Yorkshire. Inquisition. ?Thirsk. ?3 Oct.. ?[Chaunceller] [place, date and escheator supplied by comparison with 357], as the jurors are almost. [The beginning of this inquisition is missing.]
Jurors: [MS torn, at least 3 names missing] … Schipley; Thomas de Seton ; John de Chilton ; William Paull of Yarm ; John de Cowton ; John Tranholm ; John Welbery ; John Newton of Cowling ; John Knayton ; and John Haukeswell . Appears to be same jury as 357, save for last-named juror.
She held in dower by assignment of John, Lord Darcy , of the inheritance of John's son Philip, with reversion to Philip in tail male, the following townships and hamlets, annual value 20 marks and held of the king in chief by knight service: Newsham, Halton, Skelton, Colton, and Osmondthorpe, all part of the manor of Temple Newsham.
Elizabeth died on 11 Aug. 1412 and the townships and hamlets reverted to Philip, who died on 2 Aug. 1418 without male issue. Philip's heir male is his brother John Darcy by virtue of a grant made by Edward III to John Darcy, knight, in tail male, i.e. brother of Philip, son of John, son of Philip, son of John, son of John Darcy, knight. Philip's brother John is aged 15 years and more. Elizabeth, aged 2 years and more, and Margery, aged 1 year and more, daughters of Philip son of John, are the kinswomen and heirs of Elizabeth, i.e. daughters of Philip, son of John, son of Elizabeth.
Henry, Lord Fitzhugh ,has occupied the townships and hamlets and taken the profits from Elizabeth's death by letters patent of Henry IV [16 Oct. 1412: CPR 1408-13, p. 446].

Jurors: John Mitford ; John Belasyse ; Simon Weltden ; Nicholas Turpyn ; John Fox ; Robert Elryngton ; Oderd Redley ; John Hogysson ; John Lee ; Richard Wettwang ; John Horsley ; and Weland Maudit . Same jury as 358.
She held in dower of the inheritance of Philip, son and heir of John, Lord Darcy , by John's assignment: 1/3 waste called the forest of Cheviot with the advowson of the hospital of St. Mary Magdalene at Wooler, held of the king by knight service, annual value nil because it has been wasted by the Scots; 1/3 manors of Belford, annual value only 26s. 8d. because it has been laid waste by the Scots; Easington, worth only 10s. for the same reason; Lowick, worth only 26s. 8d. for the same reason; Hadston, worth only 40s. for the same reason; all held of the king in chief by knight service with reversion to Philip.
She died on 10 Aug. 1412, when the 1/3s reverted to Philip. Heirs as in 360.
Henry, Lord Fitzhugh , has occupied the 1/3s since Elizabeth's death by letters patent of ‪ Henry IV as in 360.
