She held the manor of Bealings for life with the advowson, … and the manors of Grundisburgh, Sutton, Newton by Ipswich, Cottenham in Kedington and the tenement called ‘Capelles’ in Kedington by the grant of Nicholas de Basyngham, parson of Sutton , to John Tudenham , Margery his wife, and his heirs with reversion to Thomas son and heir of Robert Tudenham , son and heir of John, son of Margery. In Bealings there are: 1 hall with chambers, 1 grange, 1 stable, annual value nil … and 9 a. arable at 4d., 10 a. pasture at … 3s.4d., 5 a. great wood, nil, £8 rent … payable at St. Andrew, Easter, Midsummer and Michaelmas by equal parts; 26s.4d. from various services of customary tenants, freemen and serfs … 4s. Annual value of the advowson of Bealings £10. It is held of [Lord Willoughby], of his manor of Bradfield, service unknown. The manor of Grundisburgh comprises: the site … at 4d. the a., 240 a. arable at 4d., 16 a. pasture at 12d., 7 a. meadow at 3s.4d., 10 a. great wood … 40s. rent from various lands and tenements … at the above 4 terms by equal parts 40s. from various services of customary, free and unfree tenants … perquisites of court. Grundisburgh is held of Lord Willoughby as above, service unknown. In the manor of Sutton are: the site with buildings, annual value nil … a. arable at 2d., 3 roods meadow 20d…. underwood … 3s.4d., this year nil … rents from various tenements in the vills of Sutton, Chattisham, Alderton, and Bromeswell in the said county. Sutton is held of the earl of Suffolk , service unknown … Newton by Ipswich … Coddenham, Gosbeck and Tuddenham at the above 4 terms 46s.8d. for various terms … held of the Earl Marshal by fealty … the manor called Cotenhall in Kedington … is held of the abbot of Bury St. Edmunds , service unknown. … the tenement called ‘Capelles’ in Kedington … there are 48 a. arable … Margery held for life a 3rd part of the manor of Eriswell and the advowson … a 3rd part of 300 a. at 2d., 1 a. meadow 3s.4d. … ‘Calnespitell’ 2 a., 2s. The whole manor of Eriswell is held of the king in chief of the honor of Boulogne by the service of 2 knight’s fees.

She died on 9 June 1416. Thomas de Tudenham is heir of both Margery and John, aged 21 years and more.

Nicholas Wychyngham , Henry Inglose and John Felioz have occupied the manors of Bealings, Grundisburgh, Sutton, Newton and Cottenhall in Kedington, and the manor called ‘Capelles’ in the same and 3rd part of the manor of Eriswell and taken the profits from her death until 16 Sept. following, title unknown. Then the king granted the custody to John Rodenhale, knight , and John Wodehouse, esquire , as above [no. 781].
