, by his charter dated at Stoke Goldington on 19 Nov. 1364 granted the manor of Stoke Goldington to John and Maud Nowers and the heirs of their bodies, the heirs of his body and his right heirs. Maud died without heirs by John. He married Alice and they had issue Amery, Grace, Agnes and Joan. Joan married

as a quarter of a knight’s fee, annual value £6. Owing to the death of

Nowers
and the minority of his heir the manors came into the king’s hands and so remain.
Amery died on 20 Dec. 1407 . Grace, Agnes and Joan, wife of
Robert
Nevyll
, are his heirs, aged 19, 16 and 15 years and more.
