                     <ab>The jurors say that he was born on <date when="1382-10-28">28 Oct. 1382</date> at <name type="place" key="331167">Haddenham</name> and baptised in <name type="church" key="331167">Trinity church</name> there, and so is of full age. This they know for the following reasons:</ab>

                        </name>, 63, because his wife’s father died on 31 Oct. of the previous year and was buried in that church. He made the tomb.</ab>

                        </name>, 54, set off for <name type="place" key="2924856">Santiago [de Compostela]</name> on 2 Feb. following.</ab>

                        </name>, 66, because a stranger was killed by accident at <name type="place" key="331167">Haddenham</name> on 26 Nov. following the birth and he was there with <name type="person" role="king">the king</name>’s coroner.</ab>

                        </name>, 48, was in the church at the baptism and held the book for <rs type="person" role="priest">the priest</rs>.</ab>

                        </name>, 60, paid Fulk the father £10 at <date>Christmas</date> after the birth, and he has a receipt which gives the date.</ab>

                           <name type="surname">Outelawe</name>
                        </name>, 62, says that Fulk affirmed, maintained and declared it (<hi rend="italic">eum affirmavit, tenuit et nominavit</hi>) before <name type="person" role="bishop">the bishop</name> in the church of <name type="place" key="721201">Sutton</name> in the same county, whence he well knows that Fulk son of Fulk de Grey is of full age.</ab>
